Elite title and emblem unlocked without elite account?

I have recently had my account temporarily banned and reset, I accepted it, as i deserved it, and played some survival, while there, I looked throught the empty slots where my titles and emblems used to be, When this happened, I had no call of duty elite account, yet I had the elite title and blue-red skull emblem unlocked? i had no elite account of my own, (at the time) nor an account even linked to my xbox live gamertag. Does anybody know why I had these unlocked? I was level 78 2nd prestige before i was reset. Is this some type of glitch from playing while a ban from servers and a reset is in place? or is it just a glitch in general? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!
