Issues installing CODMW3

I bought disks  , but for some stupid reason the game wanted me to download the game .. so after driving 30 miles to a friends house who does not have limited bandwidth like i do , i downloaded the game  , otherwise it would have taken my entire months bandwidth do download a game i should not have had to download in the first place  , not happy  , why can't games go back like they were when they were fun  , you BUY a DISK , install it , and play the game  , IF you want to play multiplayer , then you can do so  , but you did not need the internet to play Single Player ......anyway......  , all that downloaded after 8 hours of downloading , was the Multiplayer , and the Stand Alone Server , neither of which i could care less about , as i ONLY play single player ...so now to the issue (besides needing to download a game i have on a disk which is just STUPID)  , there is no Single Player , and there is no game in my Start Menu list of installed programs/games , there is nothing in my Activision folder , nor is there anything in my Steam folder of Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

The only way i can play single player is to stick in the disk and play from it  , i have no Desktop Icon for the game , except for Multiplayer ....which IT locks up EVERY time i open it   , i have to go to the Task Manager and End the Process to get the game to unlock (Multiplayer) , as i thought if i open Multiplayer there would be a menu for Single Player   , guess not ......, so i did find i can play the Single Player by sticking in the disk (Disk 1) and launching the game from the disk   ,,,,,,

Why do i have to play the game from the disk ???  , CODMW4 does not need a Disk , CODAW does not need a disk

Why do i not have the game shown on my PC ??? , and why can't i find a Icon for the game to place on my Desktop to launch the game from ??

Why does the Multiplayer completely lock up EVERY time i open it ???

, when its supposed to be JimDirt ????? , and why can't i change it ??? ,  , when i joined Activision , i put in JimDirt   , IT gave me that name , i did NOT choose it  ,  i tried to get help fixing this weeks ago , and no one who can actually fix the issue will take the time to reply or fix the issue  , and for some stupid reason , you can't contact Activision  , all it gives you is these forums , or Twitter and crap like that (i don't use it or any other Social Media)  , what kind of company does not support their customers by allowing them to contact them when they have issues  , its called Tech Support  , seems everyone does it but Activision ???  , no email  , nothing    ??...the website is hard enough to find what your looking for  , its the worst website i have ever used as far as user friendly  , let alone the lack of actual support from Activision .....will someone PLEASE fix this issue !!!
